One major highlight of the night is I finally asked if they have khaw man kai. This is a dish that I loved in Thailand but for some reason Thai restaurants in the States do not make it. They do make it and a whole group of people discovered how delicious it is.
I did look around the table and feel nostalgic for all those folks who used to travel to Queens to eat with us. They are scattered all over the world but I hope they know they are loved and missed.
