People Who Live in Glass Houses

This happened last summer but it's worth documenting.  Trish, Mer and I drove to New Canaan, CT, to visit The Philip Johnson Glass House.  I read about it opening to the public a couple of years ago and knew I wanted to visit.  It was worth the wait.

It's an incredible home because it is so unusual.  It's also intriguing why he decided to build it, decorate it and design a life around it.

In case your curious, he also designed this incredible building.  It's known as the Lipstick Building at 53rd and 3rd.  He's kind of a genius.
